Sonesta Dahabeya Amirat II has officially arrived, and its launch brings Sonesta International Hotels’ Nile River cruise fleet to seven vessels, reinforcing the company’s position as a leading operator on the river.

What to Know About the Ship
The Sonesta Dahabeya Amirat II is a newbuild featuring seven deluxe cabins and two elegant suites, each with individual climate control, on-demand televisions and complimentary internet access. Deluxe cabins include a scenic sitting area, while suites come with a private terrace.
The intimate boat has just nine accommodations.

“The vessel blends modern design with traditional elegance, creating a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere,” according to the brand. “Onboard amenities are designed to ensure a truly indulgent experience.”
Shared spaces include a shaded sun deck and bar, an open-air whirlpool with sun beds, a fitness center with massage services and a lounge with a reading corner. A panoramic main restaurant serves “a variety of delicious dishes prepared with the finest ingredients to satisfy every palate,” per Sonesta.
Sonesta Travel Pass members earn five points per U.S. $1 spent on the cabin portion of itineraries across the Sonesta Nile River cruise portfolio, including Sonesta Dahabeya Amirat II.
