AmaWaterways Partners With Mandarin Oriental for Pre- and Post-Cruise Land Programs

AmaWaterways has announced a partnership with Mandarin Oriental to offer pre- and post-cruise land programs in select European cities starting in 2026.

"This partnership brings together two brands that share a passion for delivering authentic, personalized luxury," said Catherine Powell, CEO of AmaWaterways. "These exclusive experiences align perfectly with our commitment to thoughtfully curated travel. Our guests will have the chance to enjoy the legendary elegance of Mandarin Oriental properties while further enhancing their journey with AmaWaterways, combining the highest standards of service and attention to detail both on land and on the river."

The Mandarin Oriental Luxury Pre- and Post-Cruise Experiences will launch in 2026 in Barcelona; Geneva and Zurich, Switzerland; Madrid; Paris; Prague; Vienna; and Amsterdam. Budapest will be added in 2027.

The programs include private drivers and guides, daily tours and door-to-door transfers between airport, hotel and riverboat. Culinary experiences feature hands-on cooking demonstrations followed by lunch at regional restaurants. Guests will stay at Mandarin Oriental properties.
