Every year The Phocuswright Conference promises unparalleled insight from top tourism industry executives, and once again, it plans to exceed expectations with a stellar lineup for its 2018 event, which will be held Nov. 13-15, 2018, at JW Marriot Los Angeles L.A. Live. (Note: The Phocuswright Conference is held by Phocuswright, a sister company of TravelAge West.)

This year’s conference will bring a slew of innovators to the stage to explore the connection between size, growth and success in an ever-changing field. The event’s “Power Paradox” theme ensures that attendees will have the opportunity to delve into a discussion of power, dominance and adaptability.

Phocuswright specializes in bringing together forward-thinkers and brand-builders. The panel of speakers will feature top-notch travel experts, including Kellyn Smith Kenny, chief marketing officer at Hilton Worldwide; John Zimmer, co-founder and president at Lyft; Bill Gurley, general partner at Benchmark; Maud Bailly, chief digital officer at AccorHotels; Eric Gnock Fah, co-founder, president and chief operating officer at Klook; Greg Greeley, president of homes at Airbnb; and Haydn Sonnad, founder and chief evangelist at Tesloop.

The conference will also highlight the latest trends and topics within the travel industry. Because space travel is a major trend, Phocuswright plans to focus on SpaceX’s innovation — particularly with its revolutionary plans to go interplanetary by 2019.
