Royalton Luxury Resorts has announced the launch of Royalton Vessence, a new adults-oriented brand that will debut in Barbados during summer 2026. The brand represents a departure from traditional all-inclusive resorts, focusing on destination immersion through art, local culture and sensory experiences.

The inaugural property will be Royalton Vessence Barbados, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort — Adults Only, which will be located on the island's Platinum Coast. The resort was previously announced as Royalton CHIC Barbados before evolving into the new brand concept.

"We're truly excited to introduce our new brand at a time when we celebrate 15 years of trajectory in the all-inclusive industry," said Jordi Pelfort, president of Blue Diamond Resorts. "This reflects everything we do best. We create forward-thinking concepts that speak to evolving guest expectations while pushing the boundaries of what an adults-oriented escape can be. From being the first in the region to offer late-night swimming under the stars to introducing designed spaces for digital detox and reconnection, this is about embracing what matters most in new and meaningful ways."

The resort will feature locally inspired artwork and rotating exhibitions by regional artists throughout the property. All suites have been designed as luxury accommodations, with artwork integrated into the design. The top-tier Chairman Suites will include art pieces and panoramic views, while Diamond Club suite guests will receive butler service, exclusive area access and additional amenities.

Central to the resort experience is The Studio, a multipurpose space that will host art, pottery, and culinary workshops during the day before transforming into a venue for live jazz and acoustic performances at night. The property will be the first in the region to feature glow-lit pools for nighttime swimming and will include dedicated digital detox spaces.

Wellness programming will be provided through Moddo by Royalton FIT, offering yoga, breathwork and movement sessions with professional instructors. The resort will also be the first in Barbados to provide complimentary airport shuttle service to guests.

"We've been deeply inspired by the creativity, energy and warmth of Barbados," Pelfort said. "This brand was created to bring each destination to life through every experience at the resort. From the artwork on the walls to the music that plays after sunset, it's all about living the culture without ever having to leave the hotel."

The Royalton Vessence brand launch coincides with Blue Diamond Resorts' 15th anniversary in the all-inclusive industry.
