It’s one of the most important and competitive tourism markets in the Caribbean, and we saw an opportunity to bring something new to the table with Funeeq. The launch of this brand in the Dominican Republic is an exciting milestone in our regional expansion and reflects our confidence in the Caribbean as a growth market. While Mexico remains our home and primary market, we are committed to building a strong presence across key leisure destinations in the region.
What plans does Posadas have to introduce the Funeeq brand in other destinations?
As part of our long-term growth strategy, we see significant potential for Funeeq in Mexico’s top leisure destinations. With a strong demand for family-friendly, high-energy resorts, we are actively evaluating expansion opportunities in locations that align with the brand’s immersive, entertainment-first concept. While our immediate focus is on Punta Cana, we expect to bring Funeeq to select Mexican markets where its unique offerings can thrive.
New properties are planned for Nuevo Vallarta and Los Cabos. How would you describe the continued strength of those destinations?
