Hyatt Hotels Corporation has unveiled the launch of its adults-only brand, Hyatt Vivid, with the inauguration of the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island in Cancun, Mexico.

Positioned as a modern, all-suite resort, Hyatt Vivid Grand Island promises a relaxed ambiance coupled with a plethora of experiences amidst lush surroundings, according to a press release from the brand. This latest addition to Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection reflects the company’s expanding presence in Mexico, with further openings slated for later this year.

"The debut of Hyatt Vivid Grand Island represents an exciting new chapter in the Inclusive Collection’s story,” said Melanie Benozich, associate vice president of marketing and global branding for Hyatt.

The brand aims to cater to a diverse range of travelers, blending all-inclusive amenities with a casual atmosphere, and the property will be situated a 10-minute drive from Cancun’s hotel zone and neighboring Dreams Grand Island.

"Hyatt Vivid Grand Island caters to travelers looking for a no-pressure vacation where they can eat, dress, dance, learn and do as they please, on their time, their way," said Luis Miguel Ojeda, general manager of Hyatt Vivid Grand Island.

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island boasts suites influenced by its surroundings, ranging from 570 to over 3,000 square feet. The accommodations feature a neutral color palette accented with artistic details, along with an array of amenities designed to enhance guests' comfort and convenience.

The resort offers 11 casual dining options and six bars, serving a variety of culinary options ranging from global cuisine to healthy menu items, all within a resort-casual dining atmosphere. Additionally, guests can partake in a host of engaging activities and entertainment options, including group classes, wellness activities, and cultural experiences.

Water enthusiasts can indulge in the resort's three pools, including a main multi-tiered pool deck with a swim-up bar and the longest rooftop pool in Cancun. Moreover, guests can access the Ennea Beach Club, a private beach club offering Bali beds, loungers, and direct access to the popular Playa Delfines beach.

The opening of Hyatt Vivid Grand Island aligns with Hyatt's strategic expansion efforts in Latin America and the Caribbean, further strengthening its portfolio in the region. Planned openings throughout 2025 include notable properties such as Breathless Puerto Vallarta, Park Hyatt Los Cabos, Hyatt Centric Santo Domingo, and Secrets St. Lucia Resort & Spa.

For travelers seeking all-inclusive experiences, Hyatt Vivid Grand Island offers discounts through December 20, 2024.
