G Adventures has partnered with AAA Travel, becoming the organization's preferred adventure travel provider and expanding access to its community-centered travel offerings for AAA’s 65 million members across North America.

The partnership provides AAA members with access to G Adventures' portfolio of more than 1,000 small-group trips spanning more than 100 countries. G Adventures was selected following a comprehensive evaluation process that examined product quality, safety standards, customer service excellence and alignment with AAA's member-focused values.

"We're thrilled to partner with AAA Travel to introduce their members to G Adventures' expansive collection of life-changing travel experiences," said Steven Lima, G Adventures’ vice president of growth for the U.S. and Latin America. "AAA is one of the most trusted brands in North America, and we are honored that they have chosen to align themselves with G Adventures, a company founded on the belief that travel not only connects us, but also can be one of the most powerful forces for positive change in our world."

As part of the arrangement, Timothy Knight has been promoted to national accounts sales manager at G Adventures; in the position, he will work exclusively with AAA travel advisors to provide specialized agent education, support and service.

The partnership includes the establishment of a dedicated community tourism fund created with Planeterra, G Adventures' nonprofit partner, designed to amplify the impact of AAA member bookings on local communities. The first beneficiary is the Asociacion de Desarrollo Integral de San Luis, a locally run Costa Rican cooperative organization that manages regional resources while protecting and maintaining traditional culture and agricultural practices. G Adventures will contribute money to the project for each AAA-booked passenger on itineraries that visit this project. Once a predetermined goal is reached, a new project will be selected for funding.

"Partnering with G Adventures means aligning with a global leader in responsible travel, an organization that not only delivers unforgettable experiences but also creates a lasting impact within the communities AAA members visit," said Stacey Barber, vice president of AAA Travel. "It's travel with purpose, powered by passion and integrity, while making dreams come true for our members."
