Contiki, a tour operator within The Travel Corporation that designs trips specifically for 18-35 year olds, today launched its largest Europe trip collection in over six decades, along with two new budget-friendly Peru itineraries.

The expansion includes 10 new European itineraries and marks Contiki's first foray into Albania.

The new trips span destinations such as Albania; Mallorca, Spain; Athens, Greece; Rome, Italy; France; the United Kingdom; Switzerland; Morocco; and Egypt.

Notable additions include:
- "Albania Beaches & Peaks": An 8-day trip showcasing Albania's coastline and national parks.

- "Ancient Wonders: Rome, Athens, Cairo:" A 10-day journey exploring three ancient civilizations.

- "France in a Week:" A seven-day tour of French chateaus, champagne houses, and historic sites.

- "Barcelona, Ibiza & Mallorca:" A coastal exploration of Spain's islands.

- "Paris to Rome by Train:" A rail journey connecting major European cities.

- "Culture & Coastlines in Morocco" and "Best of Morocco:" Extended itineraries featuring the Agafay Desert and Ait Mansour Valley.

- "French Christmas Markets:" A seasonal trip inspired by Contiki's German Christmas markets offering.

In South America, Contiki is also planning two new Peru trips: "Lima to Machu Picchu Road Trip" and "Peru: Lima to Huaraz." These budget-friendly options include English- and Spanish-speaking Trip Managers and feature hostel accommodations and sleeper coach transport.

The 11-day "Lima to Machu Picchu Road Trip" covers Peru's major attractions, including the Inca Trail, Huacachina, Nazca Lines, Ballestas Islands, and Lake Titicaca. The 6-day "Peru: Lima to Huaraz" focuses on the less-visited city of Huaraz, offering hikes to tropical glaciers and the Laguna 69 in the Andes.

"We've been leading travel experiences in Europe for over 60 years, and it's a region that holds a special place in Contiki's history and heart," said Adam Armstrong, CEO of Contiki. "This new collection of trips is about evolving with our travelers' desires. We want to uncover hidden gems and offer fresh, immersive experiences that align with the interests of travelers today, and launching in destinations like Albania reflects our commitment to bringing new, off-the-beaten-path adventures to life."

To promote the launch, Contiki is offering a 50% discount for the first 50 travelers booking select "launch departures" on five new Europe trips, with potential savings of up to $1,400. This offer begins on September 10th, 2024.

The Albania trip highlights the country's recent popularity, noted by its top 3 ranking in trending destinations by MasterCard Economics Institute. Itinerary features include exploring the Albanian Riviera, hiking in Valbona National Park, and cultural experiences such as traditional Iso-Polyphony singing performances.
