Adding to the growing list of hoteliers entering the cruise market, Aman at Sea is the next brand to place on the sales radar with its first newbuild: Amangati. The luxury mega yacht will measure 600 feet and accommodate 94 guests in 47 suites. The ship, named as “peaceful motion” in Sanskrit, is currently under construction at T. Mariotti in Genoa, Italy, in collaboration with Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design.

Editor’s Note: This story will be updated as more details are released.

“Designed to evoke a sense of elemental calm and inspired by the interior architecture of a Japanese ryokan home, every suite is a study in spatial composure with dedicated lounge and seated areas in addition to king-size beds,” the line said. “Subtly curved ceilings and full-height windows bathe timber-toned interiors in golden daylight, enhancing the sense of volume and openness.”
